The much awaited Cheza Dance Idols Season II is back and this year the competitions are going regional in Gulu, Mbarara, Mbale and the grand finale in Kampala. Cheza dance Idols has grown around the theme of dancing to inspire and as such this year, the proceeds from the partners and sponsors this year will go towards transforming the lives of the youth through agriculture as well as uplifting those of teenage mothers, runaways and unemployed mothers.

It is no surprise that fashion houses like Tenge have showed interest in partnering in this year’s edition. The previous edition saw GOTv, Movit, Gibu Water and Infinix phones as sponsors.

The General Manager Isaac Odongo added that, “Ours is a unique and sustainable proposition, when you perform a situational analysis of the challenges in our society, you realize that the 65% of the youth most especially women have and are undergoing traumatizing situations stemming from domestic violence, sexual harassment, child and sexual abuse, sibling rivalry, intimate partner violence coupled with unemployment. In this regard therefore, the competition is aimed at raising awareness of these vices, and mitigating the effects of the same through a competitive and uniquely exciting master piece, CHEZA DANCE IDOLS.”
